Centre for Youth Care Inc. is a non-profit agency that has served the special needs of youth and their families since 1971. Its administration is overseen by a voluntary Board of Directors who meet on a regular basis.
Centre for Youth Care Inc. is funded by the Department of Social Development, and our treatment process highlights social development, self-regulation, academic support, and integration back to the natural family when possible. Our programs focus on supporting youth in identifying and achieving their goals.
To promote, establish, operate, and maintain residential care homes for youth in the care of the Minister of Social Development.
To promote, establish, operate, and maintain supportive care homes for youth with complex needs
To promote, establish and maintain positive relationships with community members and partners.
To promote, establish, operate, and maintain supportive care for vulnerable populations.
Centre for Youth Care is committed to supporting at-risk youth, families, and communities. Our mission has three primary objectives:

Promote and support positive daily living in a safe environment;
Promote and support the development of fundamental life skills.
To build positive, healthy relationships in a therapeutic surrounding, encourage community involvement while targeting individual success, and provide a safe and secure environment through supervision, modeling and consistency.
